What kind of application environment is an ultrasonic level meter suitable for?
Usually used for measuring liquid level or material level in places with temperatures between -40 ℃ and 100 ℃ and pressures below 3 Bar (5kg/cm2). Under normal temperature and pressure, choosing an ultrasonic level gauge to measure liquid level is the best choice. It has the characteristics of reliable operation, easy installation, long service life, and maintenance free, and has a relative price advantage. Due to the fact that the ultrasonic level meter does not come into contact with the measured medium during level measurement and is a fully enclosed anti-corrosion structure, it has the best effect on liquid level measurement for viscous, corrosive, turbid and other liquids.
What precautions should be taken when measuring the liquid level of volatile liquids in sealed containers?
Two points to note:
The sound velocity of the gas inside the container may be different from that in the air. If the liquid level gauge cannot correct the sound velocity, there may be certain errors;
Volatile liquids will condense on the surface of the ultrasonic level gauge probe, blocking the transmission and reception of sound waves, requiring the level gauge to have variable power control function. Our company's products can meet the above requirements and have a large number of practical applications.
3. Is the ultrasonic level meter effective for solid material levels?
The use of ultrasonic level meters for material level measurement is feasible, with sufficient application experience and successful examples.
When measuring the material level, the installation position should be selected, and the position where the material surface is relatively flat should be chosen; For powder level materials, a level meter with a higher power (range) can be selected for measurement.
How to use an ultrasonic level gauge for liquid level measurement when the liquid level fluctuates violently?
There are three feasible methods:
Select an ultrasonic level gauge with automatic power control function.
Choose a larger range ultrasonic level gauge.
Add a plastic tube to the liquid and measure the liquid level inside the plastic tube.
