Summary of Main Faults:
1. During instrument installation, the sealing of the case and inlet is not tight, causing water to enter the instrument and corrosion of the circuit.
2. Electromagnetic interference is mainly caused by the interference emitted by high-power equipment such as frequency converters entering through the power supply. The level meter should be grounded on site as much as possible and separated from the power supply of high-power equipment.
3. The selection of installation position is unreasonable, or the structure of the installation position is unreasonable, such as too small an opening, too long a connecting pipe, and multiple reflections on the curved top surface.
4. The liquid inside the container evaporates severely, and the surface of the probe condenses too much liquid, blocking the emission and reception of sound waves.
5. Any non instrument fault such as unstable measurement, undetectable signal, wrong measurement value, etc., such as serious condensation, too much foam, too long connecting pipe, reflection interference on the side wall of the container, multiple signal reflections on the arc top surface, etc., can be solved by adding a plastic pipe into the container to measure the liquid level in the pipe, because the liquid level in the plastic pipe is flat and the side wall is smooth, It can shield other interfering reflected sound waves, and the sound wave signal inside the tube is strong, ensuring stable measurement. The inner diameter of the plastic tube should be greater than the outer diameter of the probe, and the inner wall should be flat and seamless. Two holes should be opened at the upper and lower ends of the plastic tube to ensure that the liquid level inside and outside the tube is the same
Fault consultation and handling:
When users report faults, they should inquire in detail about the following:
1. Instrument specifications and models (determine power supply form and range)
2. Use temperature and pressure
3. Tested substance (liquid, solid, name)
4. Installation site (indoor and outdoor)
5. Container structure (closed container, pool, silo, height, width, container material)
6. Installation method and location (flange, bracket, opening size, flange connection length, whether to add pipes)
7 Fault symptoms (correct level values, displayed incorrect values, installation height, etc.)
